-Black Crackle Gel Polish is a solid black. Despite being called a "crackle gel, this crackle gel does not need to be cured and will air dry on its own.
-Shimmer Gold Gel Base is a shimmery yellow gold gel base. This base gel can also be used as gel polish as well, but it does need to be cured with an LED/UV lamp.
-Air drying typically takes 3-5 minutes, depending on the thickness of the gel and the room temperature.
-The crackle effect will be different depending on the gel used as a base color.
-Bling's specialty crackle base gels are designed to be used with the crackle gels, but they can also be used on their own. Crackle base gels do need to be cured with UV/LED.
-Some other Bling gel polishes will also work under the crackle gel. It is best to test gel combinations and dry times before attempting on your own finger nail to save time from having to remove it if you do not like the final effect.
**Tips and tricks to working with crackle gels
-Applying thin crackle layers will create small cracks and allow it to dry faster.
-Applying a thicker crackle layer will make much bigger cracks but will cause a slower dry time.
-Drying with a fan can speed up the dry time and will allow for bigger cracks to form.
-Drying with a heated fan or a blow dryer really speeds up dry time and allows for bigger cracks to form.
**How do I apply Bling Crackle Gel?
1) Prep your nails, apply base gel, and thoroughly cure for 60 seconds or more.
2) Apply a crackle base color and thoroughly cure for 60 seconds or more. This is the accent color you want to see under your crackle.
3) Apply a layer of crackle gel and let it air dry. This can take 3-5 minutes, depending on the thickness of the crackle gel applied. Air movement and the temperature in your room determine how fast it dries.
4) Apply a base coat and thoroughly cure it for 60 seconds or more.
5) Apply a no-wipe top coat and thoroughly cure it for 60 seconds or more.
