This construction gel is a thick viscosity gel ideal for creating extensions, strong overlays, and defined nail architecture (like arches and apexes) because it stays put without self-leveling too quickly, without running into cuticles, offering maximum control. A strong gel with high resistance to flow. Can still be soaked off.

If you prefer a thinner viscosity gel, without losing the strength properties of a construction gel, simply warm the jar slightly before use.


Construction Gel - Pink Smoothie

Bling's Construction Gel has more strength than Regular Builder Gel in a Jar.  It can be used for square corners, building structure and extensions. It has a much higher viscosity (meaning it is much thicker) than standard Builder Gel in a jar. Therefore, it self levels slowly, much slower than regular builder gel, giving you time to work with it, without flooding your cuticles, giving you time to work with it before flooding cuticles. And it can be soaked off.

We recommend using Bling's Rubber base gel as your base gel with builder gel. Rubber Base Gel, the flexible nature & stickiness of Rubber Base Gel, greatly helps to avoid lifting and to keep the rigid builder gel adhered to your flexible nail bed.

Builder Gel vs Hard Gel vs Construction Gel:

-Builder gel, hard gel, and construction gel are all used for nail strength, building structure and extensions, but the key difference lies in the rigidity and removal process. 
Flexibility (soft vs. hard) and removal (soak-off vs. file-off).

-Construction gel often refers to a stiff builder gel or a hard gel and is used for sculpting, extensions and sharp corners, emphasizing its structural, buildable nature.
-Hard gel is the strongest, most rigid (requires filing off) and is ideal for long extensions.

-Builder gel (soft gel) is more flexible, can be soaked off, and is great for overlays and shorter extensions.
